Diet, Exercise and Water For A Healthier Body
While other people are struggling to lose some weight, losing weight and maintaining it is so easy for me. It’s just a matter of diets that work, exercise and water intake.
Choosing the kinds of food to eat plays the biggest role. If you love to eat fatty, sweet, preserved and processed foods rather than fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes and grains, better not expect to lose some weight.
Yes, you may lose some weight if you just take it in in small amounts but there’s a big tendency for you not to maintain your desired weight. A healthy low-fat and sweets diet that emphasizes fruits, vegetables and grains could not just help you lose weight but also not to worry about gaining pounds back. You just need to make it part of your lifestyle so as exercise.
Water is of great help too in lossing weight aside from diet that work and exercise. Drinking 1-2 glasses of water at least 30 minutes before meal could make you feel full, making you eat less while it helps your body burn fat more efficiently and wash the toxins out of your body. So, better practice to drink at least 8 glasses of plain water a day.

The Symbol of Lifestyle
One of my male friends asked me if I have idea what is the best supplement he should take. I remember him posted some pictures on his profile taken just a week ago in which he and his circle of friends are smoking cigar. He even put a comment on the album that it is a symbol of lifestyle. I immediately remember the health info I’ve read that smokers need more vitamin C than non-smokers so I stress more about the importance of vitamin C to his health by sharing the info I got aside from other essential vitamins and minerals.
I reminded him that supplementation could not make up for unhealthy lifestyle, it just fill in nutrient gaps. I know he got my point thus he smile and nodded. I told him also about the importance of antioxidants that could be taken from right diet for him to enjoy optimum health. I jokingly added that next time he need to post photos in which he is holding vitamin C-rich foods and, or supplement too on his profile as symbol of his lifestyle. And, to read my posts every now and then. How, about you, what is the symbol of your lifestyle?
In Search for The Right Acne Treatment
One of my younger sister’s friend is suffering from acne and she is in search for the right acne treatment product that could help her acne problem. She said she applied various acne products to her face already. I told her that she must be wise in choosing an acne treatment product. That, she need to find the right acne treatment that will work best on her skin and not just trying on anything others say that worked best on their case.
I asked her about her lifestyle and habit. She said she never smoke and drink alcoholic drinks but she loves to eat processed and oily foods and stay up late for her favorite late night show. I told her that it would be best to start taking nutritious foods such as fruits and vegetables, eliminate the oily and fatty food and take more water because what she takes in has an impact on her skin. That, skin health often reflects how healthy her digestive system is. Eight-hour sleep matters a lot too so she better rest early every night and not wait for the late night show she usually watch if she really love her health.
If over the counter topical acne treatment and healthy lifestyle will not work, I told her that she need to see a dermatologist for her acne problem. Dermatologist will assess her skin type and will give the right medication for her case. She smiled and agreed that she will change her lifestyle, especially her diet.
