Attitude unquestionably determines the point of view of every situation. From pregnancy, to getting laid off, to getting divorced. If you look at it with an attitude of "how can I make this work for me instead of against me?" you're going to come out ahead of the game. When I lost my leg in 1992 I saw opportunity, despite the pain and regret. After getting involved in the Paralympic movement and witnessing what so many people with serious physical impairments can accomplish, I'm thoroughly convinced attitude determines the outcome.
