Swine flu is threatening not just the health of the people on countries mentioned by World Health Organization but your family health too. It is pandemic now; there is a widespread swine flu infection. Almost every day new country or two is added to the list of countries with swine flu infection and the number of infected people is growing every day. Are you aware of it? You need to, because it is planning on visiting your place too. Remember, it is pandemic now. If you just continue to ignore this swine flu, and most people will do the same, it will not take long to infect more and, cause despair and death to its victims. Remember it is contagious and easily transmittable.

Is health your family’s ultimate wealth? If so, do not wait until it is on the news that your place is affected with swine flu, learn more about the things you can do to strengthen your family’s immune system now. Take time to evaluate the lifestyle of your family if you are following the healthy one. Check your diet, water intake and physical fitness activities. See to it that your house is well ventilated. Remember that fresh air and sunlight helps a lot to your health.

Talk to your kids about the importance of healthy lifestyle, appreciate them if they are already following a healthy lifestyle and stimulate those who need to improve. Teach your kids too how to protect themselves from threatening swine flu and other harmful germs. Teach them about the importance of hand washing and proper respiratory etiquette even after this swine flu outbreak. If your place is included on the hot spots of swine flu and close contact with other people in public places is unavoidable, mask may help to protect your family health but it will be best if you keep at least a meter away from other people.

To learn everything about flu and other common infections like salmonella (but of course you need to give more weight on swine flu now) is an investment. Learn more about its signs and symptoms and basic things you can do to combat the causative germs on every common infections you want to learn.

Pay attention to the alerts and updates given by World Health Organization about swine flu or influenza (H1N1), you may find some info here and here or through your favorite television and radio stations. Your family’s knowledge about good health practices is much more powerful than the swine flu outbreak. Swine flu is at your door, are you ready?

    We should be thankful that the swine flu did not spread very rapidly. it is not very deadly like Ebola but swine flu can still kill you.
